Sacrifice

There been too many times
that I’ve backed down
from you.

that I’ve taken the blame
for you.

I will not bow down
to relieve the pressure.

I will not bow down
to make this right.

I will not sacrifice myself
to make you feel better.

I will not sacrifice myself
to be seen as polite.

I am worth more than
just being someone else to
step on.

I am worth more than
you’ve made me believe
