Gift Guide for the Magical Girl Car Geek
Now here’s a gift guide you might not expect… I was inspired by some friends of mine who really love customizing their cars (as well as the “car girls” on TikTok) to create this guide. I’ve had a few cars in my lifetime but my last car purchase, a 2014 white Prius, really inspired me to start looking into making it more my own. Thus a Magical Girl car theme was born, and this gift guide is here to show you what I’ve found! I’ve gathered links from Etsy, Amazon, and independent businesses, but I will link my Amazon list at the bottom of this post for all the Amazon items mentioned. Adorable Decorations for Your Geek Mobile
Cloud and Stars Car Vent Clips
I love little decorations that can be sprinkled anywhere. There’s vent clips of all shapes and sizes on Etsy so if you’re looking for something specific, chances are that you can find it (or commission it) there. Tsurikawa are also pretty versatile. I’ve seen them hung up on the safety handles as well as on the back and front bumpers depending on the size. Air fresheners are perfect for not only decor but also making your car smell good! There’s a couple of other decor pieces I found on Amazon. These super cute stuffed cherry blossom bunnies can be placed in your back window, around the dashboard, or dotted all around! Vehicle Decals for Daysss
Decals are one of the easiest ways to make your vehicle more personalized (and they’re usually pretty affordable too). Etsy and independent artists are really where the coolest stickers are. I found several on Etsy as well as Stellica.com which is one of my favorite sites to get Magical Girl car accessories! Check some of these out. (And let’s not talk about how there’s not one but two Bakugou stickers here ha!)
Light Up the Night
I found some of the coolest light-up car accessories so I wanted to make a special category just for these! Up top is a wicked LED mirror from Happy Graffiti. The colored lights do turn off so it can be a regular rear view mirror but make sure these are legal to use in your state/country. The bottom three Amazon listings are mostly courtesy of TikTok! The far left are some smart interior lights that can be controlled via an app which is so cool. The far right is a light up vanity mirror which I have seen everywhere. It’s perfect for applying some last minute makeup in the car. And in the middle are some amazing car door lights in the shape of a Sailor Moon decal!
Awesome Car Customization Options
I wanted to keep these customization options simple for the every day driver so these aren’t too difficult to achieve. On the top row, far left, I have a shift boot cover from Etsy. The seller has tons of options including customization! On the top row, middle, are some gorgeous cherry blossom floor mats from an independent seller. And last on the top row on the far right is another cool product from Stellica – a Magical Girl license plate frame! (Currently sold out but keep an eye on her Instagram to see when they will be restocked!) On the bottom row, I have some Amazon options that are super easy to install like the clip on mirror to the far left, seat covers in the middle that come in several color options, and the steering wheel cover on the far right (I just love this purple pastel color).
Get Magically Organized
Let’s wrap up this magical girl car wishlist with some useful organization items mostly brought to you by TikTok. Some of these options are super sparkly, but I have other options in my Amazon list which is linked below. A trashcan is perfect for any vehicle even if you don’t normally eat or drink while in it. I always accumulate receipts and paper in my cup holders so it’s a must have really. This car seat storage net sits between the two front seats and is great for holding purses and bags, groceries, etc. The lastly, I have a couple of hook options that can hook right onto the headrest and are great for keeping things off the floor like bags, lanyards, and even clothing! There’s way more organization accessories in my Amazon list if these don’t quite fit what you’re looking for!
