A Geeky Gal Monthly Recap: December 2021
Welcome to my December 2021 recap! Due to my winter break that I take every year, this recap is a little shorter than other months. Not to worry though, I’m still listing everything you might’ve missed! With January already upon us, let’s take a look at the month of December here on A Geeky Gal and meggsngrits on YouTube!

Gift Guide for the Magical Girl Car Geek

Now here’s a gift guide you might not expect… I was inspired by some friends of mine who really love customizing their cars (as well as the “car girls” on TikTok) to create this guide. I’ve had a few cars in my lifetime but my last car purchase, a 2014 white Prius, really inspired me to start looking into making it more my own. Thus a Magical Girl car theme was born, and this gift guide is here to show you what I’ve found! I’ve gathered links from Etsy, Amazon, and independent businesses, but I will link my Amazon list at the bottom of this post for all the Amazon items mentioned. You can also click or tap on any of the photos that do not have a linked caption, and it will take you directly to the Amazon listing!
Spoilers! A Look at 2021 Blog, YouTube + Personal Resolutions

We have finally made it to the end of 2021. This year has felt both long as hell and so short that it was gone in an instant, but I am looking forward to 2022 and all that it has in store! Back in June, I chatted about where I was at with the resolutions I made at the beginning of 2021. This year has been full of ups and downs despite my hope that 2020’s events would be left behind. 2021 has presented some really hard times for me personally, and it affected my mental health which in turn affected my blog and other creative outlets. I definitely had more breaks and hiatuses than planned. Regardless, I wanted to take a look at my 2021 resolutions that I set at the beginning of the year to see how far I’ve come, how my goals have changed, and what I learned! 2022 resolutions are coming December 31st! I hope 2022 brings us all closer to our goals and ourselves!

Work has been really difficult lately but someone on my team told me that my leadership has helped them come out of their shell and I have helped with their mental health. Hearing things like that make it all worth it. BRB gonna go cry now. 🥲
