Welcome to the 30 Day Geek Out Challenge
Welcome to the 30 Day Geek Out Challenge! If you’ve participated in one of my challenges before, like the 30 Day Video Game Challenge and the 30 Day Anime Challenge, this challenge is a little different. Not only are challengers not taking on questions centered around their favorite (and not so favorite) games and anime, but I will not be releasing the entire questionnaire blog prompt before Day 1.
What’s so different about this challenge is that I will be submitting each question daily at midnight (central time) rather than one big round up post before Day 1. You can participate the same day as me or wait until Day 31 where I will wrap up all the questions with my links back to each daily post and take the challenge whenever you’re ready! There’s no time limit on when you can take on the challenge.
This prompt is all about you and what makes you geeky. We’ll be taking a look at your favorite fandoms, characters, hobbies, the geek community, and more. You can make you answers as long or as short as you like, but I find that telling the story behind every answer makes for a cathartic blog post. I invite all of you to take on this challenge, geeky blogger or not! I think one of the best parts of this challenge is how anyone can answer these questions.
The Rules:
- There’s really only one “rule” for this challenge! Please link back to each question’s post here on my blog or the final blog with all 30 questions (and my links) in each of your daily posts. That’s all I ask.
- Feel free to use my graphic if you’d like, but it’s not necessary.
- Don’t worry if you miss a day or have to catch up; there’s no time limit!
- This challenge can be completed at any time.
The first blog post containing the first question will be released on August 1, 2019 at midnight (central time). You will also be able to find the 30 Day Geek Out Challenge in my blog’s side bar under categories. I will be posting the blog posts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram which you can find linked at the bottom of this post! Follow them to keep up with the challenge!
The last blog post containing ALL of the questions for the 30 Day Geek Out Challenge will be released on August 31, 2019 at 10AM (central time). I will also be sharing the final round up post on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for anyone that wants to take on this challenge. This is so different from my other challenges, and I wanted to implement what I learned from those, too. I can’t wait for all of you to take it on!

This is totally something I would love to participate in… But I’m just now seeing this on August 2. And I’m in the middle of moving. And it’s been such a crazy summer that keeping up with my blog has been less than a priority. I know you said this could be done any time, but I may have to wait for the next challenge. I’ll be reading along, though!
There’s no time limit! Whenever you’re ready, you can take on the challenge. You can copy the link to the master list and save it in your drafts for later. Good luck with your move! ❤️

Hmmm. You could take a picture of something that answers the question that day, write about it in the caption, tag my instagram (@ageekygal), and hashtag it with #30daygeekoutchallenge or #geekoutchallenge. Does that sound good?
