Gift Guide for the Cozy Gamer with Witchy Vibes

Welcome to the first geeky gift guide of the season! I’m getting really niche-y here with this week’s gift guide: gifts for the cozy gamer with witchy vibes. I was inspired by the cozy gamers on TikTok, but a majority of the creators who post cozy gaming content usually have a very light or earthy aesthetic. As someone who prefers darker things, I made it my mission to curate a gift list just for those alt fashion gamers who also want to partake in cozy gaming. I’ve gathered links from Etsy, Amazon, and independent businesses; I will link my Amazon list at the bottom of this post for all the Amazon items mentioned. You can also click or tap on any of the photos that do not have a linked caption, and it will take you directly to the Amazon listing!

Cozy Clothes

Before you can get cozy, you have to be dressed in your comfiest lounge wear or pajamas. I’m a pajama gal myself, but Fox Blood (top 3 photos) has the softest clothes! When I saw this long top with thumb holes (first photo), I knew this was the perfect witchy top to get cozy in. If this one is a little out of your price range, Amazon has a similar top (second row of photos). Here’s just a few of my favorite picks. I think all of the pajama outfits would pair nicely with a gorgeous robe!

Cozy Scented Candles

Nothing beats lighting a candle or warming some scented wax to make you feel extra cozy before settling in for a gaming session. Whether your favorite cozy games are of darker persuasions or you just love a good farming simulator, there’s a candle for you. Here’s a few I handpicked from an Etsy creator who has their own website as well.

Set the Cozy Gaming Mood

Now that the candles are lit or the wax is melting, it’s time to set the mood. I’ve picked out a couple of flame-less candle options as well as this super cute moon that has a variety of colors and brightness levels. Then cozy up with a fluffy blanket like this black and gray one from Amazon. Finally, to get in your comfiest gaming position, you need to try one of these soft tablet stands which can easily be used for a switch!

Snug Mugs & Coffee Cups for Gaming Sessions

What’s a gaming session without a warm cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate? I’ve seen other cozy gamers with adorable cups so I took to the internet to find some fun, darker mugs for us to enjoy our choice of beverage in! The top row of photos are from KILLSTAR, one of my favorite alt fashion shops. The second row are some Amazon favorites of mine from Rogue + Wolf. All of these would be a welcome addition to anyone’s mug collection.

Aesthetic Accessories for Cozy Gamers

Complete your cozy gaming set up with these accessories. Finding witchy gaming accessories was hard but here’s a selection from Amazon! There’s three switch cases that I felt fit the theme as well as three black/white cute controllers that I can’t wait to buy for myself, especially that black cat controller! So cool. If there’s any that you think should belong on this list, please link them in the comments! I’m hoping to find more to put on my personal wish list. 😉

Charming & Cozy Games

Now here’s the main dish of this cozy alt buffet: cozy games for those who want more than cute characters and bright colors – not there is anything wrong with those things! We have a selection of Steam games including Bear and Breakfast (2022), Potion Craft, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Heart of the Woods. Check for some of these games like The Good Life and Graveyard Keeper on the Nintendo Switch as digital games! All of these fit nicely in the realm of mystery, fantasy, and cozy!
