5FF: Favorite Fictional Couples I Ship

I easily ship any character in any TV show. Just ask my husband. I ship it. All. The. Time. That being said, I’m behind on basically every TV show (well… just StarGate SG1 on this list) so please don’t spoil anything for me in the comments. It’s a sad thing how far behind I am. Hopefully no one takes my geek card for it…
Jack and Sam
I’m on season 5 of the glorious sci-fi series that is StarGate SG1. There’s been all of these little hints and even a few episodes of “what could be” for Jack and Sam. You can count me firmly in their corner.
Rollins and Carisi
I am all caught up on Hulu with Law & Order: SVU and want nothing more than to see Rollins and Carisi together. I mean they already eat dinner and watch trash TV together. Carisi is ah-mazing with Jesse What’s holding them back?!
Zuko and Katara
I swear I just heard all of the fans of ATLA sigh collectively. As much as I love Aang and Katara together, the guilty pleasure part of me enjoyed seeing scenes with Katara and Zuko. I mean there was SO much chemistry. Oh well.
Harry and Hermione
Another guilty pleasure couple of mine is Harry and Hermione being together. Maybe it was just me but I really thought they would end up together early on the books. Obviously, the later books firmly put Hermione and Ron together. shrugs
Sora and Kairi
Another case of will they or won’t they? Hopefully KH3 will bring us some solid answers about Sora and Kairi’s friendship/relationship. But probably not. It’s not really what the entire series has been about, but a girl can hope!

I, like you, ship absolutely everything. If a show or game has more than one character then basically I probably ship them, which is why I love fanfic!

🤣 Some of them are kinda niche, I can definitely recommend the West Wing though, it has awesome characters and scripting and stories, really sharp and witty!

How about the opposite, are there any official pairings in media that you were dead-set against? On my end, one that comes to mind is from Star Trek Deep Space 9, which I’ve recently watched start to finish (I’m rather new to Star Trek, so I’ve been watching all shows), and it’s Worf and Jadzia Dax, and I was against it while watching because it’s an unhealthy, pathological abusive relationship.

Hmm, yes I can think of a few of these. Worf & Jadzia is definitely a weird one, but omg how much do I ship Ezri & Julian 😍
Ezri & Julian make sense at the very least and they’re good to one another. Hell, they even go through this awkward “but what about our friendship?” moment that is perfect.
Worf & Jadzia is a story of constant emotional abuse by a ****** Klingon with the emotional maturity of a nerf bat’leth
It’s kind of random, but Jeff and Annie from community. I’m disappointed that they never got toget her in the show, but I still love their scenes together.
I have never watched that show but now I’m curious about these two. I’ll have to look it up!
